Howdy everyone, I'm new to Steer Planet. I figured i could get some of yall's thoughts on my animals.

Here's their info,
the heifer is 1 year old, sired by Monopoly, 7.59% Chianina

Steer is for my school district show and was selected at a lotto selection, so i have no clue what his pedigree is. I estimate he is almost a year old and is a char cross.

The lamb is a 5 month old hamp wether.

thanks everyone!

Out of the two cattle prospects the heifer is my favorite by far. But in my opinion it looks like she is at a later state in her maturity than the steer. Once that steer comes along and puts some finish on he might be pretty good. I really like the Hamp wether. He has plenty of length of hind saddle and has muscle definition to boot. The only negative I can find (getting Nit Picky) is that he breaks a little in that hip loin junction, but other than that he is almost picture perfect. I think he will do very well with proper feeding and exercise. Nice group of animals you have there (clapping)

Welcome to the Planet. Really like the heifer, get her filled up and she should do well. The pic of the lamb is kind of an optical illusion with the door in backround lining up right at hip loin junction but he looks good. Has a little bit of shoulder/chest in picture but some of those big topped wethers just have that. Overall good looking set!

Like the balance and look of the heifer, great top, and head set. would like to see her move, she looks like she could be a little straight on her rear wheels.
The steer, looks very green, not sure what type of dog that is in the picture but he makes the steer look like he is still very young. The steer does look to have the potential to be a very good fat steer when he grows. He appears to have frame and muscle to be a tank down the road.
As far as the weather, not my expertize, he does look to be quite powerful.

I assume the steer is young, as he looks young... but I do like him.  I would like to see a little more depth of rib, but I think he is structurally correct.  Time will tell how he turns out...

Is the heifer to be used for breeding or the market?  For breeding, she is mighty straight in the hocks, so that's a negative.  She looks more suited as a market heifer in my opinion.  Will be a flashy girl, and I love her back, and appears to be nice and clean and thick.

As for the lamb.....cute, but that's about all I know about sheep.

Is the photo of the heifer current or is that a picture from when you bought her?

I like the steer, and think that there is a lot of potential.  Feed him as hard as you can.

The heifer (I have a feeling) is a market heifer and most likely a pretty good one.

I will skip the goat cuz I don't know the first thing about them.  ;)
