OK, fess up! do you buy Christmas gifts for the four legged ones in your life? If so, what do you typically buy?
Also what has been the funniest gift you've bought or that your pet has received?

I confess that I buy for all of them. The blue heeler gets usually a rawhide bone & some extra treats. The barn kitten will dine on gourmet canned cat food.
Woody is the one that will get new chew toys & treats. He also has gotten gifts from others last year. The funniest was from Juli & it was a jacket that was black & said "Bad to the Bone".
King Killer Kitty will get some extra yogurt & although I hate to be an enabler some catnip.
When I was in sales, I used to bring home carrots that were sold in MI for deer.

now to see if you are really over the deep end- do you gift wrap them? Confession- have done that too!

First off, I consider pets to be all inside the house animals! Yep, Santa usually brings special doggy and kitty and guinea pig treats in little pet stockings hanging over the fireplace. I can't recall anything too funny. I think we gave our golden retriever a bubble bath one Christmas.  :p

Yes they all do..   the dogs usually enjoy getting a chew bone or dog biscuits.   Tiger the house cat gets all the wrapping paper & the barn cats get to dine on special cat food that day..  last year they got a heated water bowl.   The horses get some treats or ??  I know Star & Fox are getting a new blankets but we may break them out before then.

usually all the dogs get some special treat, bag of rawhides or such.  Last year I bought my hunting dog a neopreme jacket that helps keep her warm and stay afloat when we go hunting.  She loves it.

All of my favorite pets get Christmas treats. My dog Maggie gets a bone, or a piece of raw hide. My barn cat Murphy gets a can of cat food. My horses get some extra treats, and my fav. steer gets an extra flick of alfalfa!!! Then if there is any money left I try to get my family something.

With 3 dtrs in the house I don't have much say in matters like this. Our miniature Aussie that stays in the house has her own stocking hanging from the mantle & trust me it's not empty on Christmas morning.

Yup I buy and wrap for all but last year I learned my lesson not to put it under the tree till morning of Christmas the cats ripped open their presents and some of the other presents went missing because my puppy took them and hid them  (lol)

Pete, the wonderdog will have to have a new chew toy.  He will also get one of those new dog coats that are mini horse blanket.  I got a few of those for our feed store and they are great.  He actually puts his head thru the neck voluntarily when he goes out.  It is way too cold here!!  I need to get a picture up...too cute.

WOW, what is happening to this world when people don't see us as crazy when someone throws a dog a birthday party.
