We finally had our first and last angus  fall baby this year.  First calf heifer had her unassisted(calf was 65lbs).  She is a Bando 1961 son X Forum.  We were really pumped that it was a heifer!  <beer>

Congrad ultions. These nothing better than having a heifer calf when you want one that's for sure. Don't you just love the calving season its like opening up presents on Christmas as long as there are no difficulties.  <party> (thumbsup)  <rock>  <beer>  :)

The christmas analogy is right on!  We usually calve from Jan. to April, but I'm contemplating calving out a few fall calves from now on.  I love calving season and having fall babies helps break up the drought!
