Hey Everyone....

Finally updated my www.youtube.com/jbradleyhook site with some new material....BUT....GORETSKA 4, we are still filming an update on, so it will be early Sept. when it comes out.

Started a new series, "Close 2 Home", I think you'll all get a kick out of....featuring the "BIG" (lol) Wayne County Fair....home of Brad Hook, Tracy  and Troy Goretska, Chuck McCullough and many other notables in the show cattle world.  Kinda "tongue in cheek" humor, but should be entertaining none the less.  Hope you like.

Once again, remember if you want a reminder when "new" material is sent up, just hit the subscribe button on the site and you'll receive an email notification. (and that's it...no spam)

Later, Hook.

Try downloading them on your way out to feed or something then when you get back in they should be ready to go.

Have you guys with dial up looked into some of the high speed options that are available now? In our country, almost all cell phone towers are being used by high speed providers as well. We have had high speed for over 6 years now, and it is actually cheaper than our dial up was. Right now, we are using Yourlink and their tower is 20 miles away and we have had great service. My wife produces many sale catalogs and three breed magazines , so she needs good high speed service so she can do the work from home, and send the catalogs and magazines directly to the printer. It has worked great, and I can still hardly believe it is considerably cheaper than dial up used to be.

In the past 6 years we have tried out 3 other towers, and two other providers, and all have been pretty good. I am very tech challenged, and do not understand any of this stuff, however, I was at a ranch on Sunday that was about as far from civilization as you can get( about 70 miles from any town over 30 people), and they had high speed internet. There are some very remote areas in Saskatchewan, however, our provincial government is planning to have high speed available to every person living here this year. As I am writing this, they are trenching in the fiber options cable, past my yard that will bring high speed internet via the telephone service.

we have our internet through Verizon...it is not as fast as fiberoptic but it is a whole bunch faster than dial up.
plus the land line phone is not in use when the internet is on and that was a huge problem here also.

I work out of my home, so we did try the towers & would have liked to stay on them. Got a lot of days when you just can't work. Too cloudy!! I really didn't think that that system was much faster than dial up on a good day. It literally takes hours to download 3 to 5 minutes worth of vedeo. For PPL that are only posting vedeos, I personally won't even try to look. It's just too slow & ties up the computer for too long.
