First couple AI calves

Red Calf: Choppin Wood x Arapahoe (Simmx) Bull calf. Picture at just an hour old
Black Baldy: Bodacious x ChiAngus Heifer calf. Can be registered Chi, pictured at a week old

how big was your choppin wood? I got one coming in april! and love the bodacious. I got 2 coming this year. I already had one the other is due in 3 weeks. I didnt get any white though. i think they look great  <beer>

Choppin Wood came 3 days late and about 90Lbs. Cow is 11yrs old so she handled it great! Was hoping for a smoke heifer but still happy. I love the Bodacious heifer....hair, power, square hip, sound...got a decision to make on her as far as selling or keeping. Thanks for the compliments and best of luck with your upcoming calves!

Gonna second the opinion on the Baldy, she looks thick!  Nice calf!

I've heard big, sound, deep ones that need power and bone. Which is exactly how I would describe her dam.
