The  MW calf was just ideal far as size and shape as near as I can tell, very active calf an I would guess 87 lbs
,will get the weight later from Rick... very easy birth as far as we could tell,we also had a WMW Calf out of Carnac second calver an it had to be pulled, get picture later... The Troubador also a very easy birth, should be nice heifer, is Troubador a clean sire.....  The black heifer calf is a Muhammed ....simmixAngus cow ...

Fred,
Do you have any pic of Muddy Water? Who carries semen on him?  How is he bred? BW?

Sorry for all the questions....

He is a Carnac x 1412 Fred charolais cow -----Cattle Visions carry him, Bull Barn Genetic iin Ne. ,and might be some other places.  He was used hard in Wessington Springs area S.D.    The owner had a few calves last fall that he thought were pretty good ...Howdy Tucker & Caldwell Show Cattle are two of the owners....BW-around a 100 an unassisted ...  The first calf was in the 80's .

What's your opinion on your troubadors now that some have grown up a little?

I like them very much, proably not going to raise a great one by him unless you get a real powerful type cross
cow, he would help those also cause he don't have all the structural problems they do... Could raise some very fancy smoke, cream & white females for maternal use.. good disposition, they use to say Northern Gun had  'the look' AN HIS CALVES DEFINETELY ALL HAVE A VERY COOL FRONT TO THEM....I'll use him more ,he would proably work on some of my full sisters to Muddy Water ....or some heat Wave DAUGHTERS ...
