@ bk2005 that P.O.S. is an AG teacher.....he carries a little notebook around and he writes down anything "he" thinks is unethical or questionable. But what is funny to me is he never bothers the people that don't beat any of his kids

being an AG. Teacher to me is worse than a parent doing it. there are propper ways of reporting issues rather than cornering a young kid when his parents are not present. being a teacher they should know how to handle something like this and not chicken sh** it.

If they got it to the point of death, then it was most likely pumped. To pump you pass a tube down the esophagus, the fluid automatically goes down, no other option.  With drenching they will normally swallow, but if they get to that point then most cattle can still avoid it. The bigger concern with pumping and what happens most times, is people that dont know what they are doing and go down the trachea instead of esophagus and drown the animals.
