this is so cool.

i am serious about being a licensed cattle operator being a requirement at some point.  there is no limit on what can be licensed.

what's next, the media?,  well, one of obama's new staff from LA actually is proposing that.  hitler wouldn't have a problem with that.+

All a state legislature has to do to require cattlemen to be licensed is pass a law saying that any injections, determination of feed rations, when to change pastures, use of any pour on, injectable, or other medicine and things like branding, castration, dehorning, etc. are "veterinary practices" that you must have a license to do and voila, you will really be heavily supporting your veterinarian.  My guess is that Oklahoma passed a new law saying that floating teeth is now defined as a veterinary practice and poor ol Bobby Griswold is now the first one charged with a felony for practicing veterinary medicine without a license.  What a mess for him -- wasn't like he was doing surgery.  Wonder how he got busted?  Bad float job and horse owner complained? or maybe a vet did?  Feel really bad for the guy.

its also illegal to determine pregnancy without a DVM, in some states.
It is illegal to charge to do it.  Ultrasound is ok to charge for though if I'm not mistaken.

He (Bobby GRiswold) was being setup to taked a fall when he was called out to a job and arrested when he got there.  is what I read on another site.

The bad thing is, the people who aren't vets do a better job on floating teeth than the vets in our area.  If we had to wait on a vet to do everything we do to our own horses and cattle they would all be dead.  There just aren't enough large animal vets to go around.

Good old republican polotics in Oklahoma.Lived there for 35 years and used to really love it down there. They will arrest your ass for chewing gum on Sunday! All my family are still there and I go back to visit and buy cattle, but that's all.[I don't hate the people just the silly dang laws they come up with. This is living proof, although with enough money,he will probably beat the Rap.
