They're the only combs I use unless I'm using a skip tooth on yak-haired steer legs.

on slicker haired cattle i dont use them except for fitting legs because i feel the regular tooth combs cant work through the glue very well. but for everything else i use the fluffer or skip tooth like justin said. I like the plastic ones for working hair but wont use them for fitting because they are a little flimsy to really work the legs right. they work in a pinch but are a last resort.

Why does everyone prefer them over the regular combs? I have used both and I just want other opinions.

Lots eaiser on the calf, and they don't bend like the metal ones(however they still break like the metal ones)

Thanks for the help! I'll definitely be getting one. I hate blowing my heifer out and going over her with the regular comb just to see the hair lay flat again. I was hoping the fluffer comb would solve my problems :)

I don't know about you but I haven't had a calf since the first couple years I showed that could have a regular comb ran through their hair, I have to use fluffers, and sometimes skip tooths
