anyone care to offer flush suggestions for this cow?

listed as 75% maine, but might be higher, somewhat line bred, polled.

bull can be shorthorn or 50% or greater maine.  obscure homo solid, homo polled maine's are ok. can be a red carrier but if so, would prefer homo solid. would prefer some milk and more front to back udder attachment as well as a smaller head without being cute headed. also, dam of bull must be acceptable to stack.

probably what comes to mind for some is limited edition, but he is known to be shy on milk, so not him.

I don't think that there is a bull that fits your description...... So you should probably just sell her to me as I will have less requirements.  (clapping) don't have a suggestion but love the looks of her.

I just went through that old Maine weekly update thread trying to find the flyer I was looking for but was unsuccessful.  This flyer (made in recent years) had 3 bulls on it, 1 of which I don't think was talked about much, and was, IMO, a much better looking animal than the other two on there.  Maybe it will show up--

Nice bulls! I hope to get the opportunity one day to travel and see the different cattle out there,,  One thing I notice and like about folks involved in cattle in other countries is that they still make an attempt to look professional and nice dressed as opposed to falling in line w/ the downtrodden bumpkin hat-and-belt-buckle look you see here.

Are you talking about the Imperial bull who was on a pdf with Yukon and another bull?

For clarity, the cow is not a Fullblood.

Would prefer to breed black, with a good cow on the bottom.

Why don't you start over and make the "New Hairy Black Maine"?  Breed her to Moto Moto.  O0

Lee Severson raised a bull named M-80 ...could be 3xH...he's out of a polled solid black Marketman halfblood by I-80.  Two to three substantial things may be there that the breed doesn't have a plethera of, milk, calving ease and performance all in one package.

May be a decent possibility.

maybe Cabanha Santa's bull
- Mearns Estrella X226 , red coat, stool, born in 2000 long Taurus, much structure and depth of rib. Calves produced a lot of quality both in Rio Grande do Sul and Argentina. The calves are born underweight and develop very quickly, and present an excellent racial profiling, now rare in the Brazilian Shorthorn. "Star" is the son of Sebant Titleist 1 in cow Mearns Dionea X24. Displays percentage of blood in the Lincoln Red maternal and paternal lines. Is enrolled in the Herd Book Necklace ANC in number of IA - 58.
or
- Tarbes Count Willy 1767 , born August 27, 2005, or 1767 Willy "Cleto" has Argentine origin. Was Grand Champion in Palermo in 2007 when he was two years old, on this occasion we had the opportunity to meet him, impressed us by their coverage of flesh and body length. Reserved Grand Champion was a native of Argentina in 2008 is padreado by Mearns Willy X298 cow in Tarbes Countess 1653 Grandchild Topador, bull along with Salvador, was one of the players that revolutionized the Argentine Shorthorn. Is enrolled in the Herd Book Necklace ANC in number of IA - 61.

of course I have no real idea.  I just found his site looking for a photo of old Angus to fool around with and some of the bulls are neat.

Knabe was thinking about your question most of the weekend.  The two bulls I keep coming back to are Ali and Dirty Harry.  Have also thought about Bad Medicine for an old school remedy.
