We have a Monopoly x Whiplash female that we are planning on flushing in the spring. She is a heifer that can either go comm or Market depending on how we clip her. She has plenty of power mixed with plenty of guts. she isnt a ground sow but plenty deep. She took after the mono in the fact she isnt larged framed. She is moderate but plenty big. We tested her awhile ago and she came back double clean. We would like to flush her the first time for steers. Being a monopoly we are having a time finding a bull that isnt a half brother to her. We would like a bull that would keep her guts or add to them and give her a shot of frame and still make some dynamite steers. We have considered Vegas (everybody loves a blue roan steer), a long with War Eagle (if his first calf crop is what we think they will be). A few off the walls have been Pearl Snap and Red Rock, Rainmaker too. Anybody have any other suggestions besides I-80? we have thought about BIM but i still think there is a good chance we get a pud. Carrier status doesnt matter to us since she tested double clean

Something a little more oldschool-that would give size and bone and a butt-Monopoly really works when they have a little Shorthorn or Maine:Rainmaker,Manchild,Black Pearl,Steermaker (yea Steermaker-he was thicker than just about anything today and a 6.5 frame) maybe Dakota Gold,or call the Stewarts at Mid Continent-they have produced MORE good cattle out of MORE breeds than anyone I know of.Thier hiefers are thick and win shows-the differance is:they also have to raise a calf. I think I believe would be a good candidate. His calves seem to have some grow , although the crop was small this year. Not sure he would add much depth but he seems to have adequate middle to him.

I have seen some very nice frisky whiskey steers this spring! He might be an option... Plus if they are heifers they are paper able maintainers with a whiskey pedigree!

I think I Da Man would be a good alternative and would be clean.  Have seen some really good heifers out of him and some pretty decent steers.  With Who Da Man in his pedigree, they should not be puds.  For her natural calf, I would consider No Worries.  Executive still has sexed No Worries for about 135.  Lots of good Simmis out there too that would be total outcross and would make nice fats or maternally oriented heifers.
