Have you considered Dirty Harry or Dirty Harry 2? You could add some serious power, hair and structure out of a bull that will not be to hard on your first calver!

I would not use DH2... The calves ive seen have been really nice, but seem to be huge. And I beleive I heard that Matt Lautner said he would use him on 2nd calvers, and Jesse James on 1st calvers.

I agree with Chambero, I saw Montego Bay, his sister and his dam at Zane Mai's place last week and that is one good family.

Bull, heifer or steer- ZNT Montego Bay is one of the interesting bulls out there, IMO. No matter what you get, the potential that bull has is hard to beat. I am familiar with the cow family. Very maternal. From calving ease, to the females being good momas (the first calf heifers milk well and really take care of their babies),  he is an all- around great bull that is well designed. Just a very high quality bull.

I use an occ legend son on all my 1st calvers very small and hit the ground running the heifers breed back quick but am think of trying to AI  some this fall looking at MR. Driven charolais bull buddy of mine bought a heifer from Kris Black that calved last fall and the steer turned out nice sold for a fair amount of money but the most important thing is to have a live calf and get your heifers to breed back on time  jmo
