FLY TAGS

I know there's been posts before on the best ear tags most of you like the best... we already have a Allflex tagger and would prefer not to have to buy a new one.
Also wheres the best place to buy at lowest cost.  Thanks!

Dont know if its the lowest cost but its what we use. Y-Tex Gard Star plus. They seem to work pretty well, we never have face flies on the cows, and keeping the flies away from the eyes is a big plus, but they arent so potent that you'd be afraid of them causing health hazards to the the animal. http://www.tractorsupply.com/livestock/livestock-fly-control/insecticide-ear-tags/gardstar-plus-ear-tag-25-bag-2260004

Double Barrel fly tags. But handle with extreme care (wear latex gloves when handling).  They make me "sick" every time I handle them.

Do you recommend the one in each ear?  I'm very sensitive to fly sprays... what do they do to you when you mess with them.... will they work all summer?
