Frame scores
« on: March 23, 2014, 06:16:02 PM »
Does anyone know a website where I can find the frame scores on Chopping Wood or MAB? I know they're moderate but I would like to know hip heights or frame scores.

Link to a bunch of threads about frame scores in cattle. Good luck. You could also google it and come up with many frame score charts for cattle.

If you went to the stud you could likely come up with APPROX. hip heights based on reference points around the pens.

Thank you again. I think I will call their respective owners because I don't think we will be able to drive out to see them. We have a cow that throws great calves but they get a tick too big and are a little later maturing. We need to take her to a bull that will downsize and make them a little quicker patterned. The reason I am asking about Chopping Wood is I know he is really moderate but I really like MAB also. We own 9 head of cows and we already know who we will use on the other 8.
