Friday The 13th

Having a  crappy Friday the 13th....how about everyone else? Feel like crap....car didnt pass emissions testing, and now needs to be fixed. I am waiting to see what else goes horribly wrong today......I am not usually superstitious (sp) but today is just going bad for me.

The way I look at it, while everyone is tapped into the bad luck vein there will be a lot of good luck just waiting to be used. That's where I'll be. ;D

LOL...Thanks for the laughter. Just got work of a local auto recycler that is on fire 100,000 gallons of desiel fuel are involved atleast 2 injured. A local horse puller works there...hope he is ok. heres the link if anyone is interested. I guess my luck isnt that bad today.

My AC is messed up in the house, forgot to put a stamp on the electricity bill, so had to pay the past due amount and my old car that I couldn't part with got stolen. Was late for work, had to pay that bill and now the weather is threatening, making the idea of wheat harvest a far off goal! And I normally love, love, love Friday the 13's b/c 13 is my favorite number.

Should have stayed in bed! ))

I am not superstitious at all so I don't really care that it is Friday the 13th.  I'm lucky enough to not be getting all the bad weather and other things that a lot of people are.  Plus it is my birthday so I can't really hate the day.

Why all the negativity?  Be positive and be happy.

Just another day so far...

This is actually my wife's birthday and her parents anniversary (she was born on their first anniversary - How cool is that?), so this evening we'll be visiting one of those steakhouses I mentioned in the other thread... Can't be a bad day, right?  (thumbsup)

Didn't even think about it until just now.  This explains my computer hard drive crashing..... :'(

Me and another guy backed into eachother in a parking lot.  Luckily there was no damage to my vehicle... (clapping).

.....parkersburg  wva  (( wood co )_.....opened ( with cermoney, ribbon cutting, politicans and all ) the new blenerasset bridge ( across the ohio river , and the tip of blenterhasset island)  from parkersburg to belpre ohio......today......fri the 13th....they.been plannin' it for weeks...im not superscisious either but i did find it a little......ironic to say the least......took them 2 yrs  to build it....had to wait for the overninght temps to stay above 50 deg.for 7 days in row  to properlly apply the top sealer......that put them about 30 days behind because of the cooloer temps of april/ may......and they coudnt wait one day...till .saturday... (pop)....and open it on the 14th...... :-\....jbarl

I actually had a very good day and didn't have any real problems to speak of. Guess I don't beleive it either. Sorry to those that did have it rough and I hope everything works out.

It wasn't the fri the 13th ya have to worry about its the sat after.  Headed to my one of my uncles fields at the prison whre my dad works.  The semi is loaded with a back and magma tactor w/ scrapper.  THere was 7 or 8 piles of rock to one side of this levee were using as a road.  200ft from the end and i hear a screach I jump out of my truck before my dad threw it in park and am running towards my uncle and cousin.  Once I realize both of them are ok I send up a praise.  THen realize our back is tipped on the side and the tractor is holding on by a log chain.  Waiting for someone to come with a trackhoe so we take our 4 wheeler and gator around these fields checking out what needs to be done.  Well 6 hours later the trackhoe comes and finally we get the whole mess straightened up.  The trailer semi tractor are all fine but the backhoe which is actually ours has busted windows one of which we jsut replaced and the cab in a lil twisted.  BUT ALL IN ALL THE GOOD LORD SPARED MY COUSIN AND UNCLES LIFE AND THAT IS MORE THAN ANY MACHINE OR MATERILISTIC THING.
