It kept breaking up and just cutting me off... I have Hi-Speed so I don't know what the deal is.  I thought maybe it was my computer/browser or something.  It would be really good for about 2 min and then I would lose everything and then if I logged back in it would be good for about 2 min again...  Anyone else have problems like this?

The eggs will result in a full sib to JPJ. I was going to bid on them but for some reason got my days mixed up and thought the sale was Sat. instead of Fri. I just wondered who bought them.

in the late 80's, cal poly sold a cumberland daughter for either 16 or 20 thousand dollars.  sales brochure at the time said she was the best female ever sold at poly of any breed.  when poly got out of shorthorns, ohlde purchased 5 of poly's shorthorns, one of which resulted in JPJ

Are they completely "out"? There's a bull in the Nat'l Livestock Exhibitor advertised with the "POLY" prefix.

it appears you may be right

http://animalscience.calpoly.edu/areas_of_study/beef/

they didn't have them for a while and when i talked with Mike Hall a few years ago, they didn't have them then.  they also got rid of their horned herefords and they also appear to sell some composite bulls as well.  it also says they have amerifax influence cows as well.  that's a new one on me too.  don't know when this page was last updated.

there are two cal poly's, one in san luis obispo, and cal poly pomona.  supposedly there's some famous arabians at pomona.

Knabe and GB, the bull GB is referring to is Captain Jack. This bull is from  an embryo that  Rodney Rod of Illinois had. I believe the Poly stands for Troy Polyock who is listed as one of the owners.
