So on CNN today they were talking about frozen vs fresh embryos in humans.  There was research which showed frozen embryos may increase the chance of having a healthy baby using IVF.

In an 11 year 1200 embryo study they determined that the average weight for babies from frozen embryos was 7 lbs. 14 oz, while the average weight from fresh embryos was 7 lbs 7 oz.  The doctor on the interview stated that it didn't really determine that frozen embryo babies weighed more (presumably from the small sample size), but rather that frozen embryos were indeed a viable option to fresh embryos.

I found this interesting, and was wondering if any studies have been done between frozen and fresh embryos in regards to birth weight.  I know that they have determined that fresh embryos have a better percentage chance of sticking, however in a industry as concerned about birth weigth as the cattle industry is, if there was any information out there on frozen vs fresh embryos and their correlation with birth weight.

If not when one of you do the research can you be sure to reference me for the idea.  ;D
