I would say if they are heifers absolutely not, his sire Fu Man Chu is not even close to being heifer safe.  Fu Man Chu has always thrown a monster hip for us and pretty sure that would never make it out without taking them out of the side.  On 2nd calf and beyond he should be ok.  The common theme in most of these threads is getting a live viable calf.  If the heifers are good, breeding to a good maternal calving ease bull usually makes for great replacements.

You can find him on lautner farms! They all have had at least 2 calves so they should be ok!

He is a new bull this year, so no calves yet.

Has anyone seen him @ stud or as a baby when he was sold in Ohio?

Not to be rude, but why on earth are you looking at a bull that is unproven or an under performer?

If you want a Fu Man Chu like bull, why not use Fu Man Chu?

A good bull is about 60% of your calf.  A bad bull is about 95% of the calf.

Use a proven bull.

If you really like Fu then pay the little extra and use Fu. Unless you have done a lot of background on the genetics of the bull and your cows, don't incur more risk by using something unproven.
