This site has really expanded since I was last one here browsing! Getting back into the wonderful world of cattle and showing soon after a 7 year hiatus.
So, what I am wondering is after looking at many bulls pedigrees, why does it seem like many breeders are not keeping track of what breed the bulls are anymore? Example being... look at a lot of top crossbred bulls. if you want to find what breeds that make up what they are you have to dig and dig to find out what they are, if you ever find out. Seems like everyone is just ok with the word crossbred and a big name rather than what breed they are. Seems like the clubby breeds are losing sight of the basics of cattle and breeding and are just going for image now. Just a thought
