George Strait "The Cowbow Rides Away Tour" n/c

I'm excited and saddened by the news that George Strait is going to be done touring. I feel he was one of the greatest of all time in country music, and one of the very few remaining that embodies what country music should be. The press conference is a must watch if you're a George fan!

George is our age, our kids and us have every cd he ever made.  We seen him in Columbus, Ohio.  He is a true gentleman and boy, he is still eye candy to us ole girls who love the look of a well groomed man!!!

George Strait is nothing but a class act. I saw George perform the 1st time in 1983. He was at a place called Twitty City (Conway Twitty owned it) just outside of Nashville. It's a small venue and after the show he just sat around and you could go up and talk to him. We went up and talked team roping with him for about 15 or 20 minutes. I saw him perform twice there.
He is definitely the real deal , instead of the tanning bed , white jeans, spray painted cowboy hat deal .

Hopefully he tours close to Iowa, I've always wanted to see him in concert!!

I have seen him in concert a couple of times.  Very good, and very genuine nice guy.

he has always been my fav as well. will def have to try to see him before he "rides away"
