Well the busy bee I was sunday with showing/packing up I forgot a new can of hocus-pocus at the beef expo. The issue is my steer still has adhesives on his legs. Is there anything I can use to get it  out that I dont have to order?  ???

You might try baby oil (any mineral oil such as Pink or the Olive Oil hair product) to break it down.  Let it sit for 45 minutes and work it in well with a comb.

Might try wd-40.  Wouldn't make it a habit tho!  Completely understand the rush on Sunday!

When I first started showing (a few short years ago) crop oil is all we used.  It works really well, but wash it out good.

Next time get some EZAll It's Gone.  You won't ever use anything else.  Can't even think if we have Hocus Pocus in the tack box anymore..

Plain old vegetable oil/cooking oil....a bit messy, but works great if you rub it in well with your hands & a comb, then just washes out.  No harm done to the animal or the hair.

WD 40 is what you need now, but IMO, don't use the EZ ALL IT GONE., if you plan on fitting again with in a few days, it leaves the hair very soft and kinda greasy, and it does not pull up as well when you go to fit again, Learned this the hard way, I prefer Hocus, time tested, and works the way we need it too. You can break one down and fit again in a few hours if you need too, you cant do that with EZ ALL

Nothing at all wrong with the WD40.  We used to use it all the time - it doesn't hurt anything as long as it's washed out well with soap (and yes, the GoJo works really well, too).
