I showed all over the east coast during my childhood and teens. Here recently my 2 nephews have showed at our county fair and now have a lot of interest in the real clubby show game. I just recently got the barn back to club calf ready and we are going to start with a couple great heifers and a steer with buying some good bred heifers with genetics to start a breed schedule like we did before and produce our own competitors. Here are the questions I have.

Best daily hair care product? I have used kleen sheen in the past but I have read a little about the green stuff and was wondering what your opinions are on these products? Which do you prefer and why?

Supplements. I will be running a show feed for the clubbers. Our local gain store has a show feed that is made by a pretty prominent show family in my area. Its called Odyssey. I used it with pretty good success. A family friend that showed with use used Showrite and it seemed to do pretty well too.

What show feed to you prefer and why?

Hair Supplements? What do you prefer and why?

Muscle or building supplements?  Anyone use Muscle or fat builders?

Thank you in advance for your responses.
Just hoping to see what is new out there and how to produce better projects for these kids that want to compete!

The feed is on you-except have the sense to feed heifers ALOT different from steers-Im sure you know that  anyhow. After that-pose the questions to the Sullivan people-they are the consummate  pros-and wont necessarily try to steer you to their deal-on every product. They know the drill-dont waste thier time with WHY? Write down their suggestions for what to do at the various stages of the calves development and follow their advice. O0

Thanks for the reply Mark. I planned to give them a call about some of their supplements eventually. I was just on here looking around and thought it may be worth a post for first hand knowledge and results on certain products.

I dont necessarily agree with how fat they get the sale-show heifers-but nobody in almost any breed does the overall presentation of THAT MANY CATTLE  cattle better-They can tell you how to keep heifers fresher -steers sound yatta yatta. O0 O0
