I do. At times his delivery annoys me, and he can get a little out there, but I think he makes some very good and valid points, if you can get away from the fear mongering messages at times.

I watch him some...Can't decide if I like or hate him. I don't agree with some of the things he throws out there. Why do you ask?

I listen to Glenn Beck's radio show.  Only because I am driving around for my job and I usually have my serious face on ....  He is far easier to listen to than Rush.  Not as much fun as Dr. Laura.  I do like the fox news tv show.

I especially like the segment "Pork of the Day" where they highlight some stupid project in the new stimulus bill ....like 3 million to study mormon crickets....Come on....that one will lead to what.....jobs for 8 graduate students??  Really!?!

I guess I'm just curious to see what other people think..I also can't decide whether or not I like some of his antics, but as a whole I usually find him entertaining. I think that there are some things that he throws out there that we should certainly be concerned with, but Fear Mongeng is not far off at times either.

I used to really like him but recently he's gone a little too far with the fear mongering stuff so I've quit listening to him for awhile.

don't have cable, but listen in once in a while on the radio.

what you have to realize, is that programs are formatted somewhat to "attract" new listeners, so there ususally isn't enough detail as most people aren't interested in detail as it takes time to develope issues without entertainment and still get advertisers and listeners in a co-linear fashion.  the more detail you get, the less listeners, and less advertisers you get.

what i would like to see with radio, is if you hear an ad, you hit a button and it forwards info to an email account cause you can't write it down fast enough or remember it.  that way, you could do more ads in less time, but then, people would probably start getting paid to oversample ads to fool advertisers to place more product.

a stream of ads that i would like to see exactly said like this

limestone fence posts
novino semen
thornton w. burgess books
books about the 98th meridian
fr magic 179x semen
harness leather belts
pasture land for sale
etc.

that way you don't have to listen to wasted space with fast talking people about disclaimers which i turn off just as commercial gets started.

I try to listen to Glenn's radio show when I can.  I don't get off work in time to watch his show on fox now.  i used to watch him on cnn.  Glenn can be kind of doom and gloom, but he's been warning us for two years about the financial situation we're in now.  I think Glenn is extremely smart and has been around the block knows what it takes to be successful and what it will take for this country to be successful.

he has a daughter in college & another one that is probably in high school. Both from a previous marriage. They adopted a little boy & then his wife became pregnant w/ their daughter.

I like his radio show. He is very passionate about his topics. Very conservative. Only get TV show when in motel or hospital.

I like Beck, Prefer his radio show to the TV, For those of you in the area I am hosting a We surround them party, tomorrow,

I just look back on all the things he has been right on,  in the late 90's he said their would be buildings and bodies in the streets of new york if we didn't take the threats from bin laden seriously, he has been right on this economic downturn, for the last 2 years he has been preaching about getting out of debt and being self sufficient.

I guess I look at it this way, he has been telling us stuff for years that no one else will talk about, he has been screaming about the violence and kidnappings along our side of the border for years and now that he is on fox they are actually checking into the stuff he has been screaming about!

He had Sarah Palin on his show before anyone even knew she existed!

He seems to be one step ahead, he preaches to read our founding documents, read about FDR,  not to be ignurent of our history, and to read it from more than one source!

Like he said if he is wrong on the economy then everything he is saying he loses credability and most of his audience, if he is right, he loses his home and buisness, either way he loses!

He can be hard to listen to because you just don't want to hear what he is saying, just like yeasterday when he was talking about the conneticut gov had legislation to have a group of lay people take over the finaces for the catholic church!  bet you havent heard about that!

I like him b/c I would rather be prepared for the worst then be sitting here completely oblivious to what is going on!  Like my cousins and in-laws who keep saying we need to give Obama a chance (they all voted for McCain and are also conservative)

I started to really pay attention last year and he started talking about the stockmarket falling below 7000 and why we were in trouble about how companies who insured bond (AIG)  had more obligation than money to pay them off, And why that was a serious problem.  I can go on and on, all I know is after listening to him and checking into stuff myself, I got out of the stockmarket before september and told my inlaws and dad listen to becks previous shows , one listened one didn't.

I have an 18 and 13 yr old sons.  They watch the news shows when they are on and have some surprizing questions and opinions.  Ask a young person what is wrong and you may just get an inspiring answer.

i have a 17 yr old daughter...ive been getting inspiring answers for about 3 yrs now.. :D.....we dont watch  or talk about politics..... we talk about clothes  :p/ school  :'( l / inter friendship dramas    (argue)    / and BRAD...(    :))) )....as far as the politics go....we both pretty much agree  " news topics seem to  all be a bunch of screamin'  about...... how to  blow smoke up your own butt....it cant be done...but everyone else is  tryin' to tell everyone one else how to do it....it seems to me that there generation  , pretty well realize they are on there own as an " adults" later this year....or next....but one thing tops all the " if nothing else" category....and thats the military...they are young enough to qualify....get the education for free....pay/housing/medical/practical experience for there first private sector employment search after there term/ male / female ....  some incentives to join...and usually incentives to stay in...they already have to get ready to compete for jobs with there friends mom and dads and other adults out of work all ready /  folks getting out of the service now and college students graduating ( and graduated )and entering the same job market at the same time.........not necessarily my first choice ...but the honest realization they have is actually the surest and most valuable ( for the next3 yrs anyway) option that seems to be available.....and i doubt if they got that on "news tv".......i cant remember having to bang on her door and tell her to "turn off that cnn and go to bed"  :D....jbarl

I heard Obama is going to lower our military to pre WW2 levels. More jobs he is going to need to come up with. I guess the 25 Firemen that were hired because of the Stimulus package is a great start. I don't think I would be going out on a limb in saying he has done more damage in his first 50 days than any President in the history of our country. Has anyone heard about "STIMULUS #2" one just wasn't enough. I think after it is all said and done they will have more Stimulus Packages than Lautner has Heatwave clones!

THey need all these stimulous packages to stuff all their pet projects into.    Goes to show you how DUMB they think we all are!  I have been calling my reps about once a week to tell them don't vote to this, don't vote for that.  And to add insult to injury I know they don't listen.  I really don't know what else to do.

I sent letters to all of them a while back about the first stimulous package.  All 3 of them sent me back almost the exact same letter.  That just ticks me off even more.  2 are republican and 1 democrat and I got the same song and dance from all of them.

Except the city of columbus firefighters gave up their raises b/c the city doesn't have enough money and non-essential personal at the dept headquarter were layed of, however they have lots of money to do green rehab projects and the mayor won't give up any of his staff!

Opps!

that's how they all work its almost like extortion, threaten to cut safety services or buses for the schools, if we don't agree to tax hicks, but will they cut back on their staff, or look for other ways to trim the budget!
The mayor of columbus has three PR secretarys 3, really does he need that many.  Plus they allocated a few million to turn the area where the City center mall was in downtown into a park, but they may have to cut fire dept positions

I really need some duct tape
