By looking at it my first thought is I have never seen an unskirted bale feeder that ever saved hay.  Their design doesn't look like anything new that hasn't been tried before and failed.  JMO

I don't own one, so I can't speak to the hay conserving part.  But I have looked at them closely, and they are super stout.  I do believe they would outlast about any other bale feeders on the market.  We don't generally use bale feeders for cows (we unroll ours), but if we did, I'd sure consider these.

I have a few and love them. They save more hay then our other "hay savers" and they stand up to the bulls as well. Easy to move. I won't buy another bale feeder.

These hay feeders look like they are well made and welded--not bolted up.  Can't tell from the website--does anyone know where Go Bob is located?  How much do the feeders cost?

I talked to the Go Bob people within the last hour. They are located in Oklahoma & seemed like nice helpful people. The feeders are priced $700-$820 fob Oklahoma.

We looked around for some different styles of feeders as well, however in talking with some other farmers with the open style bottoms the general comment was that the young cattle were getting legs stuck and end up breaking them when trying to reach the hay in the middle of the feeder.  we steered clear and stuck with the closed bottom ones for that reason
