Bred a few PB angus and sim/angus heifers to Grandmaster and calves are coming.  I know some love him and some not so impressed.  But I'm hooked on using him on heifers after the last couple days.  Tiny healthy little farts (all 60-65 pounds so far).  I've never seen calves get up and going so fast. Had a heifer at 2am this morning; 17 degrees calm, cold and frosty.  She was up and walking before mom could even lick the rest of the bag off of her. A couple more to go in the next two weeks.  Now let's see if they will grow!  Will try to get some pics tonight.

I hate the bulls picture, his numbers and most everything about him. Went to a sale last fall and came home with a bred and open tho! The bred is a whale. Had a Long Shear Pleasure solid black heifer calf 70 pounds and what a perfect uddered cow. Someone told me Grandmasters will strip the white off a hereford!  She is as good as I could think of making one. I sure think you will like him. And at least he is an outcross to the triple bred Legacy stuff running around right now.

I am in the Love Him column. The calves will really change at about a month old. I have a cow and a first timer calve a bit ago doing a great job and have great udders.  Will try for some photos. We even have a clean up bull by him. I have tried for photos to show how easy keeping he is but have yet to get a good one. I will be using GM on my clubby heifers this spring, but they are not home to get photos of. I have a friend that breeds Maines but wants a couple straws to use on his heifers also.

We haven't used him a lot but the calves we've had from him have been less than impressive at birth and then at some point they really explode.  I intend to use him more in the future.

Bovine and Equine,
That's awesome.  I've got a 60 and a 65 pounder showing this year.
I am really liking the vigor, low birth weights, and possibility of having some outcross heifers (outside of dream on) to breed in the next couple years.  They are so tiny when they hit the ground, it's hard to judge them right this min.  But overall, happy, happy, happy.
