Grizzly Bear Calves?

Anyone had/seen any Grizzly Bear calves yet this spring, or if you had one last spring how are they feeding out?

I would also like to know some calf reports. Couldn't believe how high the sexed female supposedly went for on Lautner's online sales, especially since I can safely say I've never seen one that placed decent at a show or even a calf report in general.

I wouldn't be too worried about seeing calves at shows yet. He was only introduced in the Spring of 2012 and Lautner's just bought ownership/started promoting last spring. The thought of a THF AND PHAF Monopoly x IrishWhiskey/Angus with a semi-low BW (still not for 1st calvers) that has the looks of Grizzly Bear is pretty exciting.

Josh Kastel of Kastel show cattle swears by the bull. He sold a few out of him this past fall and they were stellar!!! He says he is the most consistent clubby bull he is using. The heifers I seen will make really nice cows.

I looked through their pictures of their Grizzly Bear calves when they were younger and was very impressed. Thanks for the info and picture! I am thinking about breeding him to our Afterhours ShorthornPlus Daughter in hopes for a heifer, or a herd bull prospect. Thanks again.

I received some pictures from Pat Wolfe (PWolfe on here) and his Grizzly Bear calves look like the real deal.

what is he adding to the calves that the mother doesent have? Thanks
