Just curious...IF you feed a supplement for hair growth...

#1-What is it? (Which one do you think works the best?)

#2-Is there a need to feed it during the colder winter months, or do you only feed it when it starts to get warmer?

I know that some of them work by lowering body temperature and well, that just isn't needed in the winter. I also don't know how long supplements such as this can be fed over time. Many of them say "must be fed for 45 to 90 days", but can they be fed for 6 to 9 months and more??

You can absolutely promote hair growth in the winter, but you don't need supplements to do it.

The easiest way to get them to grow hair in the winter is to keep them clean and keep their hide healthy.  We try to rinse and blow them out once a week in the winter.  Sometimes it is pretty tough to do.  We have an indoor wash rack, but it is so darn hard to get them COMPLETELY dry.  We have to let them stand in front of fans for awhile, but that is just the way it is.

With that said, I guess I really should have asked what part of the country you are in.  We are north central, and it is 15 degrees right now.

If you are in the south, I am not the guy to talk to.  From what I have read about hair in TX/OK is more about holding the hair.

I agree with Tallcool
Keep the clean and on good bedding. It doesn't have to be expensive wood chips. We use regular cornstalks and have awesome luck.
One important thing is to not let the shit build up and make "balls". It will be an uphill battle. Just make a plan to do it every so often.

Save your money for supplements during the summer! Lol (clapping)
