As the "back" bettors progressively reduced their requested probabilities and the "lay" bettors steadily increase their supplied likelihood, the software on the change wagering internet website satisfies all the back again bets with all the lay bets at the prompt they coincide. The accounts of the "backers" or "layers" are then credited with their winnings immediately a few seconds right after the finish of the occasion according to its end result.

Or better known as bidder # 4033.

Saw on Matt's blog it went to Iowa. He sold the steer that won that deal this year too so put it together from there.

Very awesome steer would love to have him in my barn. I'm a  lil curious though, if I'm not mistaken, vickland's sold the same calf in September for $15000! Guyer/Bonham sure got their ($$$ ) mark up on him @$51000.

That is nuts!  I don't get spending that kind of money on a steer?  What happens if the calf doesn't win somewhere?  What if he goes off his feed and doesn't finish on time?  I have to say the steer "business" is pretty much out of control in my opinion.  It sure makes it hard for hard working juniors to compete.  I've seen a lot of them give up.

I agree. I was counting to my husband last night, and if I remember correctly there were 10 steers/heifers that went for more than $10,000 out of I think 60 head!

not impossible, but hard to win with a $3500-$5000 steer anymore, if you win 5 big jackpots with him thats $5000, then your state fair thats maybe $30,000 at best at the auction, definitely not making money just alot of expensive banners, think of the cows you could buy with that $$$

Yeah no joke...when I go to buy a new show calf it's like throwing money out the window or just buying really expensive banners and buckles.

$665,325 roughly out of 66 head, that is over a $10,000 average. Kick out the calves that never hit their floor price, I bet they averaged allot more than that.

If in fact they sold for that, more power to them.  I do not know anyone who sells calves, that would turn down that kind of money if it was offered to them. I don't believe you would hear anyone ever say, "No $10,000 is to much, why don't you give me $2,500" . At least their are some folks out there that still have disposable income. Can't blame the seller if their are folks willing to pay those amounts.

I thought this was one of the sales that truly had calves of variety of levels. Felt like there was lot of quality for price point.

I was thinking about this smoke steer and thought, man a whole bunch of PPL missed a sleeper out at Vickland's earlier this season!!
Also does Guyer sell Show-rite? I know that he is going to spend more time and concentrate on Natural Stride & Natural Solutions, but don't know for sure what those products consist of.

He is a rep for ShowRite. Natural Stride and Natural Solutions are all natural supplements he developed that really took off. I like the Natural Stride a lot.
