Just kind of curious if anybody has anything to say about this bull or has some input and photos of his calves. Thanks

in a class of 2?  Usually the powerless, sound calves are flat, narrow and light muscled.. and worthless...  I find it hard to believe a powerless calf was reserve at a show in today's day in age.

He is not a clubby bull, He was not bred to sire club calfs. He sires sound, functional, high performing cattle that maintain a attractive look. The heifers will show but will not have the power the Heat Waves and Whos have. I would not say the heifer is more like an angus but more like what a Maine female should be. The females will work dual purpose whether you want to raise purebred or club calf.

If you are wanting to raise cattle with a really clubby look, he might not be what your looking for.  If you are looking for Maine breeding cattle (bulls and heifers), he will work for that.

Ours have had plenty of muscle, alot of body, sound, good eating, good feeding and great tempermant.  They can be a little plain for some of the showring genetics out there.

Here are a couple of pictures of a Maverick that we raised and sold, she was reserve Maine at Aksarben.

Willow, she looks great.  I could use a whole herd of those....

Thank you.  So could we  :)
She could use a bit more power when you get behind her, but she sure profiles nice.  She is getting ready to have her first calf in a month or so.

All of the Maverick's pictured look plenty powerful to me !

the one also has heat wave in her and from the side you cant see how thick they are

explain why to me- your two posts sound contradicting?

Good eyes can predict what one will look like from the rear- when on the side.. it comes with looking at millions of head of cattle...

im just saying the one probably got her muscle from the heat wave genetics and like ive said before i have only seen 2 and they were both bred maternally and did not have allot of hip shape but from the side in a photo you couldn't tell and they looked really good. a picture can be deceiving (i believe you've said something of the sort in one of your previous posts) clubby breeders do it all the time to add flank or hide there front feet all sorts of stuff
