Had 1st MY TURN calves today... PICTURES ADDED!

I had a set of My Turn twins today.  I am very very impressed by these two.  She had one bull and one heifer of course.  The bull weighed 75 pounds and the heifer weighed 71 pounds.  The calves have really good bone and sure are thick for being little buggers.  The also have nice front ends and have an awesome hair coat!  And really good topped too!  I think the bull calf is going to be a stud and should make a really nice steer.  I will try to get some pictures up as soon as I can.  Sounds like the weather here is not suppost to be too good for the next couple of days so I will get some taken as soon as I can!

What's the cow Chadpole?

The cow is a PB Angus by Genetics by Design 049 out of a Generic Bando 581 cow.  We bought the cow back in 2006 from Mason Fleenor of Ida Grove IA when we sold off a bunch of his cows.  She is a BIG cow.  Probably weighs around 1800 pounds.  He is a super deep cow with pretty good bone (i think it just doesnt seem like it because she is so big and so big bodied)...  Pretty thick for an angus cow but is pretty trashy up front.  JBW... You will have to make it over some  time when you get a break in calvin and take a look at the little buggers.  The Nighty Night out of the 120 from tommy is looking pretty good.  The NI out of the Kadabra is lookin alright too.  I think she will be alot better this fall after she gets weaned.

I apologize for the bad pictures.  They did not turn out like I would of liked them too.  The lighting in the barn and the buggers would not sit still.  But these will give you an idea anyway.  Tell me what ya think!

All the first pictures are of the bull calf.  These are some of the heifer.  In the second picture the heifer was taking a step so it looks a little funky.  Tell me what ya think.  Also calves were born on March 6th.
