You need to feed them around 33 pills a day to equal the dosage in Grow and Shine, 1 once equals 100 mgs. 3mgs *33 = 99mgs. We feed them all 33 in the morning feeding. Some calves will eat them whole, some calves you will need to grind them up for. If you are going to feed the pills @ 33 a day I have found it easiest to take and count them out, crush them and bag them. This way you just have to grab the bag and add it to the feed, Since the kids are rinsing in the morning it just is easier for them, less thinking at 5:30 the better.
