Hello everyone.  Really enjoy reading all the posts here, decided you seem like a pretty smart bunch?!?  My question is:  how do you train the hair from the knee down to stand up and look all fluffy?  Any suggestions are appreciated!

After rinsing, while the hair is wet, use a roto brush AND a regular brush to pull all the hair up, all around the leg.  When blowing also blow the hair as straight up as possible.  It's OK to "part" the hair in the middle of the leg, as you will when you are pulling the legs with adhesive.

Do this at least once every day, and if you can an additional time, even if it is with dry hair.  Do not let a day, and certainly not a few days, go by without brushing that hair.  In fact, this goes for all the hair, not just leg hair.

Finally, use a good quality conditioner (e.g., Double Dip) in the leg hair daily.

When wet I brush the hair on the leg strait down, then forward, then I pull them up! THen I blow, and I put the stuff I put in ther hair for that day in, and I comb it all up again. I havent tried the roto brush, but I will probably get it when I order from sullivans next!

Great information above.  I'm a fan of elbow grease.  I think the more you can manually brush with a Rice Root Brush, the better hair.  We never used the blowdryer or Roto brush, except during clipping, and show preperation.  All the daily work was by hand, with the Rice Brush.
