we have a hairy bear out of a wazn't me x hairietta that will have her first calf this spring.

Definitely see a lot of similarities between the two including color pattern. I would expect yours to continue to grow as ours is showing some good size for a first calf heifer.

she's got a little more power than ours but looks good.

Any pics of your hairy bear heifer? And what did you breed her to and where did you get her from?

She looks nice, deep bodied, and put together nicely. However really disapointed in her hair for winter time.

She looks good, different from my Hairy Bear heifer!! Mine is a cross with a primarily angus cow.  She had her first calf last year out of Nichols Extra he is looking pretty good.  This year we bred her to Goldmine and of course we'll see what that little one will look like in time.  Knowing the hair mine has I would agree in saying I'm a little disappointed in the coat she has.  Would presume she'd have more...

I was dissapointed with her coat in the beginning of nov so I decided to slick her out and it still has a long way to grow back in. She really shouldnt be shown this weekend(she is not ready) but its a local show so why not.
