The Hairy Bear calves will be the hairiest calves that you'll ever see out of a clean pedigree bull. Their toes will point in the right direction although some may be a bit straight in their rear leg structure. They are moderate frame size. The Hairy bull of WAR is a Hairy Bear out of Harrietta.

We like the consistency of the Hairy Bear calves. One of our best steers this year(still for sale) is out of Hairy Bear. The rear leg structure on our calves has been good. In fact, one of our better steers out of him, we thought might have too much set to his hock. As he's grown, I would consider his rear leg "set" nearly ideal. One of our best heifers (at least from a cow prospective) was a red Hairy Bear X Foreplay. JB  AVCC
