I want to wish all the moms out there happy mothers day!  I know it is a few days early, however, since I can't get you all something I would like to do this..

Nothing makes a mom happier then to brag/talk about their kids!  So I am making it a free for all.  I want to hear about all your kids.

I will start with a story that makes me smile-
Last year was my first mothers day.  My husband got my daughter (then 7mo old) up from her nap and handed her a little box.  When he came walking out with her he told her to hand me the box.  She handed it to me with the biggest happiest proudest grin on her face.  That ment more to me then anything.  But I wear the diamond earrings that were in that box almost every day!  It is one of the few times I have been caught off guard by my husband, but my daugters proud little grin, like she picked them out all herself, made it so special!

How about you guys!

Sorry red!  If I lived closer I would take you out  :)  Or have you over for dinner.  Anyways, I hope you have a GREAT DAY!  Enjoy your mom for the day  (angel)

I have a 2 year old and she brought home from "school" (she goes to a playgroup at a school twice a week) a card for mothers day yesterday and she gave it to me and she was so cute... moments like that you just can't top! another cute thing that she did was she got a buffalo last nighht at TSC ( i swear she has all of those little critters) and she insisted that it was a "buffaBLOW" so now that she talks alot we are trying to make her say things correctly but it was her determination, persistance and above all her cuteness that just made me laugh and give up....so now it is her buffablow and i guess i have to live with it! I wouldnt change her for the world! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE!!!!

My Dad got his wife(might as well be anyhow) mulch and other stuff for her new flower bed...I think he might have gotten her Miracle Gro too.  He's kinda practical that way, as he got me new fitting mats for my birthday lol!

I heard on the radio that a mom, if paid, would make $120,000 a year.  We work a 93 hour week doing counseling, driving, vet work, education, giving haircuts, doing some home health care( (clapping) more counseling (teenagers, ya know ;D) being the banker (all the cattle shows, FFA trips , band trips, etc) LAUNDRY,LAUNDRY .  Oh and yes, on top of our job as MOM, alot of us have "FULL TIME" jobs.  <party> <party> <party> What MOM jobs did I miss, girls???

Seven virtues of a good Mother, as observed in the life of Samuel's mother Hannah. I Samuel chapters 1 and 2.

Worship, Prayer, Sorrow (weeping), Respect, Sacrifice (going without), Giving all, Thanks (Praise).

Be thankful if you have/had a Mother like Hannah!

It is the little things that mean so much more then gifts.  I didn't have to change a single poopy diaper or cook or clean yesterday!  It was pretty nice!

Hope the rest of you all had a wonderfull day too!

I have a 15 year old circiteer (spelling I know) blower...I've been complaining how am I to help a 10 year old get 4 calves ready at state fair and 3 at Jr. Nationals.  After getting to Saturdays show late and being frantic and hubby forgetting the blower hose (found it in trailer after the show of course) I was fit to be tied, almost in tears.  Then my fabulous husband comes around the corner with a new sullivan's blower, a stand with the Y hook up and a big smile.  I got a new blower and one more coming the last saturday in May at a show!!!!!  My mom just said wow?  I have to laugh that something like that is so exciting to me and so silly to my city friends.  One of those blowers sure does great...I cann't wait for the second!  My daughter thinks it will blow her little bull over lol (thumbsup) (lol)

Thanks honey!

make sure you get the 2 thinga myjig for the blower. Used one last month & wow, did it give extra power! It's 2 blowers blowing as one.
I love presents that are practical & can help me do my stuff better. I'd be pleased w/ a manure fork too!  ;)
