I'll be in St. Paul the next three days for a convention. Tonight should be wild with all the drunken Irish folks out on the street and in the bars and restaurants. They usually start with a few nips before the morning parade and then get down to serious libations in the afternoon and evening. What's a poor Iowegian to do but join in. Oh, they're having a MN Wild hockey game tonight at the Xcel Center right downtown---that could get really interesting as well!!
One thing I know is true---Former MN governor Jesse Ventura said the streets in St Paul were laid out by drunken Irishmen----He's right!!
