My wmw heifer is calving as we speak with a hardcore calf. What should I expect? Do you think it will be a big calf?

I wish you the best of luck! Hardcores are good cattle but should never ever be used on heifers, even if the ads say he is a calving ease bull he is not, i assure you that.

Ya we bought her when she was bred to him, and she is a really good heifer so we thought that we would take the chance. So far so good! (thumbsup)

A lot depends on the cow but the hardcores I have seen have been small. Hope yours turns out that way.

So the heifer calved and had a healthy big bull! We didn't have to assist her at all which was a very nice graduation present for me!!

Shoot I just realized that my title is backwards aha. The heifer is a who made who and the calf is a hardcore aha my bad.

We had a heifer bred to hardcore and the calf weighed 125-140 pounds at birth cow had to have a sea section.
