Has anyone have personal experiences using headliner? I have seen a couple calves and they just don't seem to have the bone and hair monopolys have? Maybe its because he is th and pha free?

I dont believe he is TH free.  We have had 2 steers this year and they do not have a lot of hair like our Monopoly's did last year. They are good calves but not positive I will be re-using him.  I am much happier with some calves out of other bulls.

I have a cow or two that I was planning on going clubby with and Headliner was in my short list.  I think there should be some females calving out this year.  What kind of mothers are they?  Is the great Hazel cow off-setting the terminal nature of Heatwave?

Hi,
I was wondering what you thought of the Hired Man & Rainmaker calves. What kind of cows did you use them on? Which had the most hair? Is Rainmaker better than Manchild in your opinion? Who is the sire on your favorite all around calf?

Thanks

I have used Hired Man two years now and have been very pleased with the results.  I have used Hired Man on a Heat Seeker cow, a Hotmail cow, and a Maine/Angus cross cow.  He throws lots of color and chrome.
The Rainmaker calves are our hairiest.  I have a bull and heifer calf out of a Heat Seeker cow and an All About You cow.  I never used Manchild so it is hard for me to compare.
My favorite sire I used has been My Turn...wish I had lots more of them coming.
