If she is born Apr 3- that means she's yet to reach 15 months of age-- now I'm not saying we don't breed some heifers earlier than that-- but on today- she can't realistically be bred long enough to be confirmed preg-- if she's truly born Apr 4.

sorry i meant April 4 2011 sorry

My comments still stand-- I knew she was an '11-- based off the fact she's obviously more than 3 months of age.
I don't think spell ck will fix those errors, they are both grammar errors.

what do u mean the grammer is good i thought

I'm old & maybe it's just part of the new text slang, but doner should be donor & heard should be herd in this instance. This may stir up some, but I'm afraid that our public education is failing and has been failing for some time. If you're not taught any different there would be no way that you could or should know. Glad that you are posting up and once in awhile we may correct you to help you know the difference. Please don't take this as any offense because no offense was intended.

BTW grammer is misspelled above. Should be grammar.

ok back to the subject how does she look??

still too young to breed- especially with her pedigree

If she were @ my place this late in the spring breeding season she'd be getting bred asap. We bred all of our later born spring heifers to AR Big Sky this year with hopes of not having too many problems.

Depending on how far along she is if she is confirmed bred, I would not be too concerned being she is only a week from 15 months. My last heat wave heifer was bred and calved to the simmi bull Built Right at 24 months old when she gave birth without any problem, gave me a great heifer calf this spring that I'm going to keep and put in my herd. I know I-80 is considered an easy calving clubby bull but being a HW, I would probably used a non clubby bull and used I-80 on her 2nd calf, that's just me. But watch her close come calving time and be prepared to intervine. If your into the clubby breeding, you will run into calving problems, it comes with the business. I don't try to create train wrecks, it just happens sometimes.
