OK guys I need some advice, I have a yrling maintainer heifer that I raised.she was weaned in Oct. and and tied up everyday for a month or so,then tied up periodically over the winter. Now that it is spring I take her out to rinse, her is the problem....I catch her lead her outside with not too much of a fight, rinse and brush her, lead her into another barn to the clipping chute to blow and comb, she is sitting on go by this time but we go in the chute alright.as soon as I untie her to go back to the other barn she is on full blown, she backs out the chute so fast knocking whatever is in her way over, screams out of the barnand trys to get away, All my calves are usually puppy dog quiet by this point and I have broke lots of calves. My question is what can I do to stop this behavior,or do I just call it a day and turn her out with the cows. Thanks

Put the clipping chute in a pen so there is no where to go when she backs out of it.  Then maybe feed her a snack there.  Anything to make her decide it isn't such a bad place.
