I have a blue roan appendix shorthorn heifer that had a 95lb bw. I am looking to breed her within the next 2 weeks. What can i breed her to for safe calving and to get a decent calf?

We have used Waukaru Goldmine 2109 and KMS Maverick with real good success. The key of breeding a heifer is to get a live calf along with keeping the mother alive.

GIZMO. Safe, tried and true. You will like the calves. They come small and do very well on feed. Ask Elbee....he is on here somewhere.

Gizmo would be great, if you can find reasonably priced semen. Other wise, if you want too use an ELBEE bull. Influence 521R has proven himself in these situations.

$100 sek genetics- if you feel she is good enough, its a small investment to get a good calf.
