that's what I used too. You want the areas to breathe so a thick ointment doesn't work well. I used to use bacon fat but it freezes so bad this time of year & the blue heeler licked most of it off too! :
(dog)Lice isn't going to remove clumps like hot spots. They are usually places that have been rubbed off. I had it w/ my red heifer last year & it was a nighmare. It mainly affects calves w/ super thick wooly hair. Just shows up over night.
