Help! Steer shedding hair

My steer has really good hair but just recently he has started losing alot on his topline - any suggestions? He's in the shade all the time! Thanks for you advice!!

if its on his topline, i wouldnt worry, your gonna clip that down anyway arent you

Work the hair with rice root brush you will continue to train the hair while at the same time removing the dead hair which will allow new hair to grow. It may not grow right away, but as soon as the temp drops the hair will start to grow if it doesn't immediately. Other than that there are some hair conditioner products you can use. I highly recommend Revive by Sullivan's, and be sure to use hair conditioner on him after each wash/rinse. Just work the hair as much as possible.

Yeah, im gonna clip it , but he has a course shoulder with a break behind it and i need the hair there. He only has 2 weeks til showtime and had been growing hair until about 4 days ago. I try to brush alot, and i use pink oil and vinegar/infusiom mix. Any other tips??
