So I am going to show a market steer, heifer and cow/calf pair next year for my fair and I have never shown a steer or anything like this....I need help with
* How to get ready?
* How to pick?
* How to train?
* How to show? ???

2. You're gonna need more help than we can give you online.  If you were in my area, I'd be glad to help you, and I'm sure there are folks that show around you that would be glad to help. A lot of times if you buy a calf, the breeder or trader will help you out a lot if you're just getting started.
