We are getting ready to AI a few cows and my 13 yr old daughter can not make up her mind on who to AI her cow to. So she wanted me to ask on here for everyone's opinion so PLEASE help her she is driving me crazy!! Every time I think she has it figured out she changes her mind. Her cow is out of About Time and this will be her 2nd calf. She is very sound and thick. She could use some more frame and hair, plus my daughter really wants to have a colored calf so to a 13 yr old that is a major thing. Thanks for the help!!

Dr. Who will throw some wild color sometimes, and I know he will throw hair.  You could try a Shorthorn..how bout TM Gus? He's white, so color WILL be thrown and he's definitely NOT a pud.  He also has a buncha hair.

Where can I find info and a picture of TM Gus?

Heat Wave or Heat Seeker would add color but no size. Dream On will throw reds but no size. SS Kaboom would make some nice females. Depends on what you want to do with the calf.

Dr. Who
Who Made Who
ALl About You tends to throw some color as well.
No color, but our Northern Improvement have been larger sized or have added some frame and great hair.

Cachet' - Older PB Maine-Anjou.  Might add too much frame, but with great bone and hair.  I still have a few straws, but a long way from Florida.  Here's an idea; why don't you buy my tank............Meyer 734, Ali, IcePick, Draftpick and .............more.

We raised a Cachet' sired bull in about 1993 and sold him locally to a guy with a bunch of Chi/Angus.  He sold the Champion Carcass steer at our county 4 years in a row, sired by that Cachet' bull.  One year, 4 of the top 10 carcasses were his.

really interesting pedigree, and if prairie blizzards momma ever had a bull calf that threw pha calves, it would help solve a mystery, as he had both turquino and universe 15.  i bet with a little bit of sequencing by beever of prairie blizzard one could tell who the PHA came from.  i think prarie blizzard is PHAC, but could be wrong.  i can't find anything on it.

SKF, I saw that Gus bull at NAILE and he's a pretty good rip. I think he would do a great job on that cow.
