Since a couple of guys had put pictures of their fall bull calves I thought I would see what everyone thought of our guy. We just got him home Sunday and he was weaned out of a recip herd. His birthday is Sept 30. He is an About Time and out of our donor that is in my avatar pic. I am going to try to get better pictures tonight.

The second pic shows that he has some extension to his neck but the first pic shows his hip better.

He definitely looks heavier muscled to me in the first one, and I think he looks fancier. I never thought he looked short fronted with his head turned, and since he has a pretty head, I don't mind that shot at all.

I am trying to get better at taking pictures and trying to show what the calf really is. I have started to take a camera with me to do chores and I look at pictures for all the different angles. I have had quite a few complements on him. He is probably one of the best I have ever raised. Now to try to bring him up right. His mother is really showing what she can do with her ET babies over the past few months.

I really like the looks of him, and I agree with leanbeef, in my opinion he looks a lot better in the first photo. His flushmates look pretty cool too! Keep us updated on how they grow and what you end up doing with him. Good luck!!

It's nice to see such a powerful hereford bull calf! He looks to have good length and balance, and he just as that winner look to him the way he holds his head! What are your plans for him?

We really dont have anything specific lined up yet. We would like to show him but we have had some interest in selling also. I guess time will tell.
