Clubbies? Certainly don't take my word for much on them, but there's a Purple Millsap 45S bull that lots of folks seem to like.

Dr. Mims gets along good there with Showtime. Kris Black has Made Right (not a pure Hereford), plus he has a good son that just sold in his sale for a big price. Then K- also has a Made Right son, 4D in OK has a nice one called H2 that has sired some high priced calves.

You couldn't do better than one of Kris Black's bulls to raise steers that will show in Texas.  Give him a call and ask him which one for your females.

I find that bull very interesting because we looked at his mother real hard when she sold a couple of years ago.  My former county agent that got me started showing cattle tried to get her bought, but wouldn't quite spend what she brought (in the neighborhood of $15K) because Kris was keeping 1/2 embryo interest if I remember right.  She was a heck of a Hereford cow.

Wow I really like that bull and I think he would work well on our females, I think I just made my decision!!  Thanks

Actually, I'll probably see that bull in person next Friday.  We have to go pick up an Angus bull we are having collected at REI in Stillwater which is the same place that ad says he's at.
