I'm looking to use a Hereford bull that I can buy sexed heifer semen.  Want to breed good high percentage Maine cows to make replacements.  I want to add more rib, fleshing easy, milk and udder quality (just can't find good Maine bulls to make those super soggy cows).  They don't have to be super showy, but prefer them not to be dogs.  Going to breed the resulting calves back Maine.

We used Boyd Worldwide last year and really like the results, but I can't get sexed semen on him anymore.  I was thinking about Victor 719T or SHF Ribeye R117.  Thoughts on these two bulls or any other Hereford bull that I can get sexed heifer semen.

Mason doesn't have any calves on the ground yet.  He is a phenomenal individual and has been a high seller thus far after Denver.  One bull to consider that consistently does exactly what you are after is H H Perfect Timing 0150 ET.  He puts a ton of rib and fleshing ability into his calves along with added thickness and muscle.  He is easy calving, low birth and has a tremendous maternal pedigree.  He is being used by breeders all over the country.  We have sexed female semen available at $50/straw.

Looks like a pretty nice bull to me.  Any pics of his daughters?

None yet, but just about everything that walks will be bred to him this year. Gonna flush a shorthorn to him too.

The victor 719s are great females.  They are going to carry more brisket than you want though for making show calf mommas. Used him on a bunch of commercial angus and they are calving as heifers this year.  Owners are beyond pleased.

I would use
NJW Trust. They are super deep bodied, good growth and milk really well. The only down fall is they don't offer sexed semen that I am aware of

Advance S109 In my opinion his daughters were the best sire group down at Star Lake. Extremely good udders, and has good growth.

Revolution #1 Hereford bull for registrations in 2013. Cheap semen. Good solid all around bull. Sexed heifer semen available through Genex.

Where is this semen stored?
