A friend of mine is planning on setting up a few of his GKB influenced cows so we can breed them AI.
I am running through the different semen providers trying to give him a little help with had he should order.
He is looking to produce a few show heifers for his kids. So we're looking for maternal genetics with good hair and bone.
My research is very limited I like the purple reign cattle, gkb has nice stuff and so does Sullivan's.
Just some bulls that catch my eye. You guys tell me cause I dunno I'm a Shorthorn guy.

Chac mason and Churchill sensation (horned)  are getting it done also, and they're affordable.  (thumbsup)

Been showing a Hometown this year and she's really cool. Will make a better donor than a show heifer, but she's done some winning.

I also took care of Mason before GKB bought him and he is the finest bull of any breed I have had the pleasure to show by some distance.

We sell about 15 Hereford heifers a year now and really like it.

We've always got along good with the Laramie calves. Mason and hometown calves for us have been average. There is a new son of Mason out this year called Fireball. I've heard he looks pretty good.

I think if I were you I'd look into a Sensation 028x son (2296, Roll tide, Screenshot, Red Bull) or a catapult son (On Point, Cobain, Sniper) to use as well.

Never really seen any chachi or Harley calves to make an accurate opinion on.

We've used Laramie and Might the last 2 years, been happy with the calves. Laramie works great for calving ease, Mighty hasn't given me any birth issues either. Also used Churchill A1 and Sensation and really like their calves, I have a 10Y son I use for clean up and have been happy with him to. A1 left me some really good replacement heifers.

A new bull you might want to look at is GH 377X Eclipse 27E.

I would imagine anything Hoffmans in Nebraska are using would do the trick in the show ring and in the pasture.
