What was the name of the Herford bull on display at Denver. I have had a couple people tell me he looked good but can not remember his name

Are you talking about Gabel's Gran Torino? I don't know why they would name him that because Colyers had a bull named Gran Torino that was champion at NWSS last year.

I saw him back in October in Kansas City and he looked really good there. I don't know if you could breed one to have any better genetics than him as far as polled. He might not be as thick as some others tho but he defiantly has the eye appeal. That's just my opinion from seeing him 3 months ago.

There a ton of good Hereford bull calves out there this year.

My favorite calf I have seen is Kahuna from Delhawk Cattle. He is really powerful, thick, wide and is flat out good. Some people have knocked his front end but by the looks of the pictures, he looks like he might be growing into that. He would be a full sib to Purple Womanizer who won South Dakota state Fair and Keystone last year.
